Dr Andreas Lutz, LL.M.
Certified specialist lawyer for labour and employment law (Fachanwalt für Arbeitsrecht)
Dr Andreas Lutz provides advise on individual labor law and works constitution law. He represents employees, executives and executive bodies in all labor law or employment contract law matters, both out-of-court as well as before labor courts and common courts. The focal point of his activities for works councils involves negotiating collective bargaining agreements and conducting labor court proceedings. Moreover, Dr Lutz acts as an observer in conciliation committees, as well as an advisor for in-house training sessions for works councils and electoral committees.
After he completed his studies in law, Dr Lutz worked as a research associate in the Labor Law team at the Gleiss Lutz law offices in Frankfurt. As part of a subsequent English-language postgraduate course at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.). During his legal traineeship, Dr Lutz completed an internship abroad at the Bisset Boehmke McBlain corporate law firm in Cape Town, South Africa.
Dr Lutz completed his doctorate in 2021 at the University of Mainz with a dissertation on “Usurious consumer loan and employment contracts” (published by Verlag Duncker & Humblot). He is a former scholar of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung.
