Dr René von Wickede
Certified specialist lawyer for labour and employment law (Fachanwalt für Arbeitsrecht)
Dr von Wickede represents our clients throughout Germany across all instances of the labor court system up to the German Federal Labor Court, as well as before common courts of law.
His vast expertise includes strategic consultancy services for employees, managers and representatives of legal persons. In addition to providing representation for dismissals and termination agreements, this also includes in particular enforcing wage and salary entitlements, bonus payments, company car entitlements, as well as company pension provision. Dr von Wickede also assists in preparing contracts as well as enforcing parental leave and part-time work entitlement.
Another focal point of his activities is providing comprehensive consultancy services for group works councils, general works councils and local works councils. As an expert in day-to-day operations, he represents their interests in particular with regard to implementing IT and software, working time regulations, remuneration and bonus systems, mobile work, as well as any operational changes. As a negotiator, he is responsible for drafting works agreements, reconciliations and severance schemes. Dr von Wickede also represents the interests of bodies as an observer in conciliation committees.
In addition to his activities as an attorney, he also provides training for works councils and electoral committees with regard to works council and supervisory board elections.
Dr von Wickede was a research associate within Prof Dr Hergenröder’s academic chair in Mainz. He earned his doctorate in May 2008, and his dissertation was recognized by the IHK Rheinhessen (Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Rhein Hessen).
He is a member of the Deutscher Anwaltverein (DAV)(German Bar Association), Arbeitsgemeinschaft Arbeitsrecht des Deutschen Anwaltvereins (DAV Labor Law Committee) and the Hessische Fachanwälte für Arbeitsrecht e.V. (Association of Specialist Attorneys for Labor Law in Hessen).
